This exposition starts with the provisional issues from 1871 and ends with the Transvaal issues of 1906 and abroad. Transvaal revenues were demonetised on 1-4-1914 (GG443 GN 2021 23-12-13) but overprinted for Bechuanaland on 11-2-1938 (h.c.n. 23-1938) and for Swaziland on 1-1-1934 (h.c.n. 154 of 20-10-1933) In the meantime, the area was called Zuid Afrikaanse Republiek and Transvaal twice for several reasons.
